The Brem Butterfly
Inspired by the words of Dr. Rachael Brem of the Brem Foundation to Defeat Breast Cancer and their motto "Put Wings on Hope", Maertens designed a special piece to benefit her cause. The butterflies are available as pendants in two sizes. They are crafted in precious metal: sterling silver, 14kt gold or in combinations of the two and may be accented with diamonds and/or gemstones. The butterflies are the perfect gift…for yourself or for someone else and will go to a good cause. Fifteen percent of the proceeds from each butterfly will be donated to the Brem Foundation.
The Brem Foundation is a grassroots effort of dedicated men and women seeking to eliminate breast cancer as a life threatening disease by advancing diagnosis, treatment, research and education. One hundred percent of the funds they raise are used to meet technology and community outreach goals including the purchase of equipment and the support of the biopsy fund.
