Service to
the Community
Community service is
very important to Heather and Darren Maertens as well
as the to the Maertens staff. Maertens supports many
local community groups, including, but not limited to,
the United Way of Calvert County, the Arc of Southern
Maryland, the American Chestnut Land Trust, the Arts
Council and the Calvert Artist Showcase.
Darren also serves on
the board for the United Way of Calvert County, is the
past president of the Northern Calvert Rotary (2005 -
2006) and the chairman of the Chamber of Commerce 2006
- 2008.
