 Kristen’s
relationship with the Maertens began shortly after the
store opening when she worked with Heather and Darren
to design an elaborate piece of jewelry.
Noticing right away, her love for jewelry and interest
in its creation, Heather offered Kristen an
apprenticeship. After a year of studying under
Heather, Kristen attended the New Approach School in
Virginia Beach, VA. Upon graduation, she rejoined the
Maertens as a full time bench jeweler.
She spends a majority of her time restoring client’s
treasured pieces. Her hand fabricated designs can
always be found in both of the Maertens locations and
Kristen is also available to aid in the design of your
own special piece. |
